• Pretty jeans that I have collected over a year and half. Collected, but haven't worn them because I purchased them as a "motivation" clothing piece (that are a size or two smaller than what I currently wear) to work out for and to fit into. Obviously, it wasn't motivating enough for me to get my butt to fit in. *sobs* I really let myself go within last two years, gaining over 20 pounds... I wish I can blame it on Studio stress/Office work life, but no.

Before I begin my routines, I wanted to make a record of where I am starting off so that I can compare myself in the future to see progress. (:

    Height: 174cm or 5'-7"
Weight: 78 Kg or 171.9 lb
    BMI: Between 25 -29.9, Overweight (source: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/)

    Images for records

Yes, It does make me sad to see my overweight body, mainly at the fact that I wasn't able to maintain my healthy body. But this is the only time when my body is at the easiest to lose weight (according to studies, the 20's is the best time because it's at its peak health with full potential of elasticity and the energy to support), and I will be taking this advantage with my new challege. Gotta be healthy and be in shape to enjoy all the pretty clothes and feel self-confident about my body. So here it goes, let the journey begin!

  • Here is my first step, creating a blog for recording what makes who I am. I love adventures, food, anything design related, music, and of course Jesus Christ. Then why is my blog titled, "Fitness Journey"? My main purpose of the blog is to record my diet/fitness life. I thought that if I have a visual record of my diet routine, then it will help me to see changes and progress over time. I have been struggling with weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for quite a long time now. I have read and tried many fitness hacks from Pinterest and blogs, but nothing was motivating enough to push me through. People say that when you repeat an action for over 3 months, then it becomes a habit. I'm here to test that out with myself, hoping that I will adopt to the healthy (Californian) lifestyle.

I will definitely NOT fill my blog with only photos of fitness images of myself and green food. Like I said previously, I love to take on short or long adventures, try out different food, I am always keeping my foot in the pool of design (because I cannot help it, but also it's a work thing), and I am always excited to see what God has been and will be doing in my life. All these things make me as who I am and so it will now be blogged. (I hope I'm making the correct decision)
